I am a Textile Artist coming from a dressmaking background. I tutor dressmaking in Penicuik, Stirling and Aberlady in East Lothian, as well as being involved in the Carbon Neutral workshops involving remakes.
In 2003 I attended Jewel and Esk Valley College in Edinburgh completing a short course in Historical Heirlooms for which I was awarded a Highly Commended Certificate. Wanting to further my embroidery journey further I embarked on a City & Guilds Creative Embroidery Diploma Course at Edinburgh Telford College for the next three years. I then joined Stitch Business to do a Masterclass in Durham. I have also been going to a master class in Cambridge to further my ambition to keep learning.
